What is the Ionic Interlayer?

Ionic interlayer(SGP) is a kind of ionic film composed of ethylene and methacrylate copolymer. It contains about 1% metal sodium ion. The bonding force between the film and glass is mainly the result of ionic bond. Therefore, the bonding strength between SGP and glass is much higher than that between PVB film and glass, and its hardness is 100 times stronger than that of traditional PVB ,The strength is 5 times of PVB.
