Introduction to SGCC certification:

     The American SGCC (Safety Glazing Certification Council) safety glass certification association was established in 1971.

     The association's members include manufacturers of safety glass products, the official building directive department, and a number of other public safety-related departments.

           SGCC offers an independent third-party certification program for compliant safety glass materials.

     Any manufacturer certified by SGCC will be granted a unique SGCC manufacturer number and can use the SGCC number on glass products.

        The scope of SGCC certification mainly covers the following architectural glass products:

     Tempered glass, patterned glass, laminated glass, organic coated glass, bulletproof glass
